Because a Ceramic Coating is so thick, durable, and hydrophobic, it will take more time to accrue buildup on your paint, and when it is time to wash, it is extremely easy to clean because of its high repellancy and slick surface. Traditional waxes and sealants last for 3-6 months, require constant reapplication, and still do not fully protect the paint against stains, etchings, and oxidation. On the other hand, a professional grade, properly installed ceramic coating will last anywhere from 2-8 years.
